  • Sophie Audier

    Born in Vevey. Spent her childhood in the Verdon Gorge. Graduated from Femis, the National School of Image and Sound as a script supervisor. Began her career as an assistant script girl on Roman Polanski's The Ninth Gate and Jacques Rivette's Secret Défense. Worked with Otar Iosseliani, Abdheramane Sissako, Radu Mihaileanu, Alain Gomis, Ursula Meier, Haroun Mahamat Saleh, Carine Tardieu, Manuel de Oliveira. Sophie now lives and works in Montreuil, France, making award winning documentaries and developing her first feature film Violet in the snow

    Penelope Naïlluje

    Born in Montpellier. Home schooled. Spent her childhood and adolescence in the Cévennes, educated by her parents. First entered a high school in Nîmes at the age of 15. Graduated from the University of Brighton, UK with a Bachelor degree of Arts in Moving Image, and from Arts2, Mons, Belgium, with a Bachelor degree in theatre and acting. Attended Nagoya University of the Arts in Japan as a part of University exchange. Very attentive and aware of the problems of the environment and ecology, passionate about the arts and in particular theater and cinema, she makes unique short films alongside her studies in France, England, Japan and Belgium.

    Born in Zlatoust. Graduated from Bard Colledge, NY, USA, with a degree (BA) in Visual Arts; Smolny College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in St. Petersburg with a degree (BA) in Visual Arts; Moscow School of New Cinema with a degree (BA) of Film Director. Co-founder and teacher of the cultural center, animation school and studio Tseh Animatsii (Animation Workshop). Lecturer of the experimental courses Cinema, Photo in Motion, Animation and Noise Laboratory.. Curator of animated projects ( The sky has no endamong others). Participated in the creation of the multi-series educational project Animation and Me. Ilya now lives and works in Tbilissi, Georgia.

    Vasily Chirkov

    Born in Moscow. Graduated from the Biology Department of Moscow State University. Co-founder and active member of the art group Invisible Friends, lecturer at the Faculty of Design of the Higher School of Economics. Vasily leaded animation laboratories for children and adults in Germany, Italy, Armenia, Georgia, Latvia and Estonia and established an independent animation school and cultural space in Moscow, in collaboration with other artists and directors. Released more than 20 commercial and info projects and 2 author films. Сurrently wandering the world as a freelance artist.

    Born in Moscow. Graduated from Mathematics and Mechanics Department of Moscow State University, from Moscow School of New Cinema and from Drama School by German Sidakov as film director. Left Russia a few days after the start of the war Citizen of Israel. Sonya now lives and works in Berlin, Germany.

    Born in Novossibirsk. Graduated from Orenburg state University in 2007 with a degree in Graphic design, and in 2010 from SHAR School-Studio as director of animated films. Left Russia a few days after the start of the war Citizen of Israel. Sonya now lives and works in Berlin, Germany.

    Boureima Nabaloum

    Born in Bobo-Dioulasso, grew up in Yako, in the North of Burkina Faso, with his grandfather. Passionate about drawing since elementary school, fully devoted himself to this activity from the age of 15 years. Self-published his first album The Rise of Albino mask (Bronze Manga Award, Japan). Graduated from Gaston Kabore’s Institute IMAGINE (Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso). Cartoonist, painter, illustrator, director of animated films, he participated in a number of artistic events worldwide. Co-founder and coordinator of the non-profit organisation CAR and International Festival of Comics FIBDO (Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso). Founder and CEO of AfricArt Group LLC (Bronx, NY). Nabaloum now lives and works in Bronx (NY, USA)
